"Stanford University tuition is about
$35,000 per year which is roughly the same
amount to incarcerate a youth in California.
Let's take some of that money and invest in
kids' futures and in helping them find their
hopes and aspirations." ~

domestic
abuse - may we have bliss at home?
Domestic abuse is a pattern of behavior used to
establish power and control over another person
through fear and intimidation, often including
the threat or use of violence. Abuse happens
when one person believes they are entitled to
control another. Assault, battering and domestic
violence are crimes.
Abuse of family members can take many forms,
including: emotional abuse, economic abuse,
sexual abuse, using children, threats, using
gender privilege, intimidation, isolation, and a
variety of behaviors used to maintain fear,
intimidation and power.
DAP
provides therapy and advocacy services to
family members experiencing domestic
violence. DAP strives to bring awareness of
domestic violence, to ensure safety for
victims and accountability for those who use
violence, and to create a world where every
person has safety.
